KyHealthCareers.com, a job portal for Health Care related jobs only, was developed by the Kentucky Hospital Association (KHA) in conjunction with MyCareerNetwork, LLC specifically for KHA Member Hospitals to post all of their health care related career openings.

KyHealthCareers.com is an integral part of KHA’s workforce initiatives, providing a single website for members to widely publicize the numerous job opportunities that historically have been contained within a narrow network of health care circles. Going forward, KyHealthCareers.com will greatly enhance and help to facilitate the process of bringing job seekers and employers together for a mutual benefit.

A specialty job portal, only for health care related careers that was designed to pull job seekers to one easy-to-access location where numerous attractive health care and related opportunities are posted.

Getting started … the portal is free to all job seekers.

Simply click on register to become a job seeking member of the site. Once registered, seekers can use the Job Search tool to locate and submit resumes for full time, part time and/or co-op/intern positions. Also, job seekers can create a professional profile, which provides them continuous matching and notification about future relevant career opportunities.

How does a Member Hospital post jobs to the site?

As a benefit of being a KHA member, organizations have the opportunity to post their job openings to the site through the MyCareerNetwork.com webPOWER Enterprise Solution. A specific Member Benefit Program has been created for KHA members allowing for multi-year discounts without a long term commitment by the member hospital. Once the jobs are posted to KyHealthCareers.com, they are automatically populated (posted) on the other regional job portals that MyCareerNetwork (MCN) operates, as well as with other job posting sites that have partnered with MCN.

Jobs advertised on the site are linked directly back to the employers website, which allows job seekers to quickly and effortlessly learn about the job, the opportunity and the hospital itself.

From here, a job seeker can submit their resume online. When a resume has been submitted, the employer automatically receives it and an electronic notice is sent to the job seeker stating that his/her resume has been received.

Why do KHA Member Hospitals need a specialty job posting site?

As mentioned, KyHealthCareers.com will feature only health care related careers, which will serve to assist KHA Member Hospitals to solve one of the biggest issues they currently experience – finding enough qualified individuals to fill all the open positions. Secondly, considerable research suggests that fewer than 25% of all job opportunities are ever advertised within the open market. That means the remaining 75% - the hidden opportunities - are often overlooked by the job seeker who is unaware of their existence and the techniques for accessing them.
